Automations
Rules that propose. People that decide.
Set a threshold on the numbers you care about, choose how often it is checked, and decide what should happen when it is crossed. Anything that changes your store or your ad account is staged for approval first.
What you get
Each of these is behaviour the product has today.
Thresholds on the numbers you already use
ROAS, POAS, net profit, revenue, ad cost, gross margin, impressions, clicks and click-through rate — over yesterday, the last 7, 14 or 30 days. Combine conditions with “all of” or “any of”.
Schedules from hourly to monthly
Hourly, every six hours, daily, weekly or monthly, at a time you choose. You can also run a rule on demand to see what it would do right now.
Approval-gated actions
Drafting products, archiving products, and excluding or including offers in Google Ads all create an approval batch. Somebody with the right permission reviews the list and approves or rejects it; nothing reaches Shopify or Google before that.
Notifications you control
A rule can post to Slack or call a signed webhook of yours. Webhook deliveries carry a timestamped HMAC signature so your endpoint can verify they came from Opteno.
Tagging and notes, applied directly
Actions that only annotate — adding a tag, writing a note on a product — apply without an approval step, because they change nothing a customer can see.
How it works
- A rule is a set of KPI conditions, a schedule and a list of actions.
- On each run the conditions are evaluated against the window you chose.
- Matching products are collected and each action is prepared.
- Store-changing actions become an approval batch; annotation and notification actions apply immediately.
- A person approves or rejects the batch, and the run history keeps what happened either way.
What it does not do
Written down so you can decide with the limits in front of you rather than after you have connected.
- An approval batch expires after 7 days, so a stale proposal cannot be applied against numbers that have moved.
- Email alerts are not available: use Slack or a webhook.
- Slack and Google Ads actions need those integrations configured on your Opteno server; where they are not, the action is shown as unavailable with the reason.

Profit dashboard
Ad spend, revenue, cost of goods, refunds, ROAS, POAS and net profit on one row per product — with a reason printed wherever a number cannot be computed.
Google Ads exclusions
Stop paying for products that lose money: exclude their offers from Performance Max asset groups, previewed against Google before anything is applied.
Competitors and imports
Track competing Shopify storefronts, see what they sell and in what order, and copy the products worth carrying into your own catalogue as drafts.
Markets and prices
The same product earns in one market and loses in the next. See profit per market, publish where it belongs, and change a price with the figures it started from recorded.
See which products are losing you money
Connect Shopify and Google Ads in under five minutes. From $59 a month, cancel whenever you want, and no change to your store or your campaigns without your approval.
